OS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings Monday released their 65-game television schedule on FOX Sports West/PRIME TICKET for the 2009-010 season, and for the first time all Kings games will be broadcast in High Definition (HD), it was announced by Kings Vice President, Communications and Broadcasting Michael Altieri.

Coverage this season kicks-off with the first 16 Kings games televised, including the 2009-10 regular season opener on Saturday, October 3, at STAPLES Center against Phoenix at 7:30 p.m. Other highlights of this year’s TV broadcast schedule include: Kings versus the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins (November 5); all four Kings-Detroit Red Wings games; the Kings versus the Washington Capitals (January 2); and the Kings’ final two regular season games (at home against Edmonton on April 10 and at Colorado on April 11) – all in HD, an increase from 10 HD games one season ago.
